Home Renovation Leads the Pals Family to Radon Mitigation

While finishing their lower level, the Pals family planned to create new bedrooms for their kids. Before completing the project, they decided to test for radon to ensure a safe living space. This client wanted an additional active passive radon system installed. The house was clean and small. The team started the process in a small utility room at the bottom of the stairs in their basement and there was an old existing passive system to the right hand side of the sump pit in which you open the lid and the PVC is about 6 in down. The access to the attic is located in the garage which is uncommon. Homeowner does not believe that there is another crawl space but she was open for the team to search. It was a smooth install and everyone went home happy.
