This client is a nice woman in her 60s with a southern accent. She has some difficulty hearing so she needed some assistance with how this installation would go through. The basement is about half finished with a wood shop and a storage room. The team installed in the two sump pits with interior drain tile along with a custom Breathe EZ 25x30x1. Levels of 10 found and concerned with health risk since she is elderly. The client also spends more time in the basement because she has a sewing room there. The installation was smooth! 

This client decided to get a radon mitigation system as he paid upfront upon booking. He is in the process of selling his home while staying there and get another land while doing so. He requested to have it done in his basement and up through his garage. The basement is his wife's workplace, so he wanted something to stand as protection from the high exposure. He was happy with how it turned out!

This is a single point system which will be going in the utility room. This room is by itself and some pit is directly in the corner of the wall that he will be exiting. This will run along the side of the house and only go about halfway up due to the height of the home. Radon level in the home was a 3.8 to 4 and it was looking to do this because they have a newborn on the way and concerned about overall health of him and the family. I did talk to him about a BEZ filter although he told me he needed to do a little bit more research on this. Everything went well!

Simple Radon Installation in Milo, Iowa

This project should be a super simple 1-point system out of the sump pit. Homeowner purchases home a couple years ago and is in the middle of finishing the basement and wanted to have a mitigation system in place prior to any other finishing. Health concern was the priority. I took a photo of the side of the house where we are needing to exit, and homeowner agreed that this would be the best place as it is also away from their patio that looks out over the pond. Installation went well!

This homeowner took a big step toward cleaner air with a 2-point radon mitigation system, Breathe EZ air cleaner, and a sump pump replacement, all tailored to the unique layout of their home. One extraction point will be discreetly hidden in a closet, while the second will be placed in the crawlspace under the 3/4 seasons room, where a mix of slab and insulation made things tricky. An existing drywall-covered hole will be repurposed for coring to avoid extra disruption. The sump presented its own challenges due to a sump jet system.
